Everything you need to prepare
Built for people who want to understand AI governance, not just memorise a question bank.
Reference notes mapped to the BoK
Layered notes for all 13 competencies, written against the official Body of Knowledge v2.1 and cited back to primary sources like the EU AI Act and the NIST AI RMF.
200 exam-style questions
Single and multi-select items written in the style of the real exam, each tagged to a performance indicator so you always know which competency a miss belongs to.
Timed, blueprint-weighted mock exams
Two fixed full-length forms that share no questions — clean before/after mocks — plus an endless randomised form. Multi-select is scored all-or-nothing, exactly like the real thing.
628 flashcards
A curated deck for active recall on the concepts that carry the most marks, plus a large supplementary deck for broad coverage.
Weak-area review
Every question you miss feeds a review pool, so re-quizzing targets exactly the material you keep getting wrong instead of what you already know.

The four AIGP domains
The exam is blueprint-weighted across four domains. Every question here is tagged to one of them, so your practice mirrors the real distribution.

Understanding how to govern AI development
The responsibilities of AI governance professionals with respect to designing, building, training, testing and maintaining AI systems.
Understanding how to govern AI deployment and use
The responsibilities of AI governance professionals with respect to selecting an AI model, then deploying and using it responsibly through ongoing monitoring, maintenance and other key obligations. Applies whether deploying a proprietary model or one from a third party.
Frequently asked questions
What is the AIGP certification?
The Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) is the IAPP’s certification for professionals responsible for developing, managing and governing AI systems. It covers AI fundamentals, the laws and standards that apply to AI, and how to govern AI across development, deployment and ongoing use.
How many questions are on the AIGP exam?
The AIGP exam has 100 questions and a three-hour time limit. Results are reported on a scaled 100–500 range with a pass mark of 300. Always confirm current details against the IAPP Candidate Handbook.
What are the four AIGP domains?
Domain I: Understanding the foundations of AI governance. Domain II: Understanding how laws, standards and frameworks apply to AI. Domain III: Understanding how to govern AI development. Domain IV: Understanding how to govern AI deployment and use.
How should I study for the AIGP exam?
Work through one competency at a time: read the reference notes, mark the topic as studied, then take the quick check quiz. Once you are scoring consistently above 80% across a domain, move to full-length timed mock exams to build pacing and stamina.
Is LearnAIGP affiliated with the IAPP?
No. LearnAIGP is an independent study aid built from the publicly published AIGP Body of Knowledge and cited primary sources. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the IAPP.
